Please take a few moments to think about the media, and in particular a movie or TV show depicting a female in a
position of either equality or power over a traditionally male-dominant role. What comes to mind? (HINT: Name your discussion post as the character’s name and their source – i.e. Wonder Woman, Katniss Everdeen from the Hunger Games, Danerys Targeryan from Game of Thrones, Annalise Keating from How to Get Away with Murder, etc ).
What is it about these women that makes them strong and dominant and what kind of response do you think this
evokes from the males in their lives? Are strong female protagonist characters good or bad influences for young
girls today? Who else might fall into this category? (NOTE: You are free to post YouTube or Google videos in this
