What I’m looking to achieve with this research assignment is to catch the attention of the readers on what is our nation doing good, and what can they do better; to better prepare us for when disaster hits the USA. What are we as a nation doing to make us more resilient and more ready for when these events happen. I found in my prior research that our younger generation has no clue of climate change and its effects, or any other possible threats that can impact us greatly. None of which is being spoken about in schools, which to me that’s crazy because this would be the best time to develop that resilience in our future generations. Other countries already teach these things to their younger people (for example, Germany).
