Please be very mindful of the assignment response parameters and citation requirements. There should be a total of four supporting sources between the two responses. I
Discussion Post Response Parameters:
Discussion Post Responses: Respond to two separate student discussion posts. Each response should be between 75 and 150 words in length. In order to receive credits, students’ discussion responses must ADD value to the discussion board by:
Criticizing the posted material using information from the textbook and other sources, and coherent arguments, or
Adding more valuable points/characteristics to the posted material in order to make it complete, or
Providing and explaining practical examples to strengthen the posted material
Response SHOULD NOT just repeat what the original poster wrote in a different way. Make sure it’s of substance.
If original response included specific examples, can that be leveraged in the reply in some way? Is there an alternative example that can be provided in the response reply?
Citation requirements:
For each response, at least one “new” non – textbook reference source must be used in a discussion post reply. The new sources must be different than what the original poster used and adds value or supports argument. Sources should be from within the last calendar year (2022–2023).
At least one reference from each of the assigned text materials is required for each response.
Discussion Format: APA 7th edition essay-style, and if bullets can be used as part of the response, this is okay.
