Observation Paper Guidelines
-Please observe the learning environment, teacher interactions with students, children’s interactions with peers, classroom management, curriculum, teaching strategies, discipline strategies and health and safety practices in the classroom. In addition please observe how teachers support social-emotional development and positive guidance.
-Minimum 2 Pages
-APA Format
-Relate what you have observed to readings and class discussions
-Can use scholarly/peer reviewed articles to support your comments (optional)
In your paper you will do the following….
Introduction to your paper, the location, why you chose the location, and what do you expect to get from the field experience.
Demonstrates a logical and clear sequence of your observation while making connections to readings, class work and what was observed.
Conclusion is engaging and includes information describing what was learned during the field experience.
Paper conforms to scholarly standards. There are no errors in punctuation, capitalization and spelling. Complete sentences and paragraphs include topic sentences followed with firm and logical support.
