As a first step in preparing their essay that is due Week 10, students develop a one- to two-page formal outline using alphanumeric format. The outline must include an introduction, including the article’s thesis statement; topic sentences and main ideas for each paragraph, and a conclusion. To gain experience with APA style, the outline must follow APA style guidelines including title and references pages (will include only one reference), page headers, and be double-spaced in Times New Roman 12-point font (template provided by instructor).
