Most states have a grant program designed for employers to apply for and use funds to pay for training for the employees they already employ (incumbent workers). Though the verbiage, funding sources, and requirements may vary from state-to-state, the basic idea is the same. As an employer, identify training needs for their employees, provide training paid for by the grant, and then report on the outcomes of the training.
