There are three main kinds or categories of film: documentary, narrative (fiction) and experimental. Increasingly however, we’ve seen the hybridization of cinema with these categories being combined in such films as the Mexican documentary/narrative hybrid film, A Cop Movie, which streamed on Netflix recently.
