Write a five-paragraph argumentative essay on the topic of your choice.
1) Pick your topic and get it approved by Mr. Schick.
2) Research a minimum of two online sources and information from them in your essay.
3) Write five paragraphs. Each paragraph must be between 5-7 sentences each. Your paragraphs should include an introduction which states your claim, two body paragraphs that support your claim, a counterclaim paragraph, and a conclusion. Be sure to include text evidence with at least one citation in your body paragraphs and your counterclaim paragraph (a total of three pieces of text evidence with citations).
4) To receive full points you must follow all of these steps and submit the essay by the due date. Late essays will be accepted, but will receive a deduction.
