Contrast that with the categories defined by the Canadian ethicist, David Sztybel. How can semantics of welfare vs. rights result in confusion?
2. Describe when you feel it is appropriate to implement those two extremes, if ever, in terms of human and animal interactions.
3. How would you characterize your general viewpoint of human and animal interactions? Did you modify your viewpoint after discussing the topic with students holding different viewpoints?
