1. Is Inequality Inevitable?
2. Is Inequality Desirable or Undesirable?
Your essay should include the following:
a. A brief description of rise of inequality in the U.S.. For example provide some of the statistics mentioned in the chapter (poverty, CEO pay, pension funds etc). Of course you can also include the current situation. Two paragraphs minimal.
b. Answer the question on inequality being inevitable. In particular focus the discussion on issued pertaining to institutionalized verses individual inequality. One paragraph minimal.
c. Answer the question on inequality being desirable or undesirable. In this section focus on how Americans view inequality. One paragraph minimal.
d. How does inequality affect you personally? Discuss here how your social class, race, and gender affects your chances in obtaining your goals in terms of career and economic status. Two paragraphs minimal. ( I am a Hispanic female)
For this writing assignment the essay should follow the following format. The top left hand corner of the paper should have your Name, Assignment One : Is Inequality Inevitable?, Social Inequality, and the date. The essay should have the following:
be a minimum of three pages (can be more but not beyond 6 pages)
typed double space 12 pt font
in the Times New Roman format
be a Word Document.
