It should cover an in-depth study of the organ as the superior instrument of the Baroque period – 1750, specifically. What did great composers find so compelling about the organ? What were some of the masterpieces created on the organ from composers of this time period? Why was the organ the instrument of choice? What about its construction did composers find so fascinating?
