Analyze the content of the recent issues of at least two magazines. you will need to compare two differed types of magazines such as mainstream womens magazine( Cosmopolitan, Vogue etc) and mens magazine (GQ, Maxim etc) Focus on a particular aspect such as headlines, letters to the editor articles or advertisements. What gender and race norms are being reflected ? How does the target audience compare to the people on the picture in the magazine? What do headlines, articles, ads,etc.. tell us about gender/race roles and expectations? what images or expectations are portrayed regarding sexuality? how do these images vary based on gender and race?
