. Locate a journal article related to psychology
a. Choose a topic that is interesting to you and an article that you are able to understand
from the following list:
Effects of stress on performance (can be at work, in sports, at school, etc.) or
memory
Effects of social media use (on mood, on romantic relationships, job
performance, etc.)
Effects of poor sleep (not enough or poor quality) on performance or memory
b. The article must come from a peer reviewed journal!
c. You must send me a screenshot of your article by December 4th
2. Write an APA style paper summarizing the article (see style guidelines below and visit

/general_format.html for formatting help). In your summary, address each of the following:
a. What was the study/experiment designed to examine? (general topic)
b. What was the hypothesis or expected outcome of the study?
c. Who were the participants (basic demographic information)? If included, how were
they recruited?
d. How was the study conducted? (did they administer a test, an interview, etc.)
give a basic step-by-step description
e. What did they find? Was the hypothesis/expected outcome supported?
3. For the conclusion, reflect on the results of the article
a. What do you think is the significance of these findings? (What do they mean to you?)
