and why? What are the origins of gluttony being a deadly sin? How have social views affect the way we look at gluttony in the past? How do the major religions (Christianity, Judaism, and Islam) view gluttony? What are some of the scientific views of gluttony? How can science be combined with faith to help those who suffer from gluttony (viewing gluttony as an ailment rather than a moral choice)?
3. How is lust defined? Why is lust considered a deadly sin? Do you agree with the definition of lust? What are the effects of testosterone and dopamine on sexual desire? What is the difference between an intimate relationship and casual sex? What does science tell us about lust? How would you combine faith and science to help someone with a sexual addiction?
4. How is sloth defined? What are the different aspects of sloth? Do you agree with the definition? Why is it considered a deadly sin? What are the causes of depression? What is procrastination? What is Area 25? Are suicidal thoughts/tendencies deadly sins or areas for ministry?
