Part 2. Main body of the paper
-Summarize main points pf the book.
-Provide language samples where possible. Be sure to italicize samples of language patterns (e.g.,Children have been observed to use holophrastic utterances (e.g., allgone, daddyeat). Helpful strategy: Mark the pages which contain interesting language samples with post-it notes.
-Organize your summary so that it reads as a coherent and well-structures whole. Use subheadings.
-No redundancies, obtuse, dense language and meaningless, repetitive verbiage. Think what you intend to say through and say it in the most straightforwards and clear manner possible.
Part 3. Commentary
In the Commentary section, provide your own reflections pertaining to the topic of your paper. Also discuss implications for classroom practice: How will the data presented in the book inform your teaching.
