In preparation to a state conference, you need to analyze the data on property crime and prepare a detailed analytical report. Your general task is to analyze the state of property crime in Illinois, and how Illinois compares to other states in the region and across the nation, and identify priority directions for policies aimed at combating property crime in the state. Your output for this assignment consists of two required parts: 1. Excel file showing ALL you work for each of the tasks described below (60% of the overall grade). Please make sure I am able to see all your relevant calculations using formulas in Excel. 2. Word file with your write-up and graphs (40% of the grade). The finished written product should be in a report format, meaning that you should present your work in a manner that would be pleasing to someone who is not necessarily an instructor of statistics. Run multiple regression models for each of the included crime types as dependent variables and all available non-crime variables as independent variables. Discuss the results of your analyses (identify statistically significant predictors in each model). Discuss policy implications for Illinois.
