Select and describe three models of democracy. For each model, analyze its chances of surviving and thriving around the world in the coming decades. That is, are its chances good or bad, and why? Of the three models you selected, which one do you think is the most likely to thrive in the 21st
century and why? What is public administration’s role in supporting the growth and stability of the model you selected?
-Each essay may be no longer than 4 double-spaced pages, using 12-point font (Times New Roman
is preferred) and 1-inch margins.
-Make sure that you answer all parts of each question you choose.
-Each essay should contain a thesis statement (a clear and concise sentence explaining your overall
argument.)
-Each essay must refer to ideas, works, and authors from more than one session. Show critical
thinking and be integrative in your writing. Draw connections between the course sessions and
materials.
