You will be asked to write a one page reflection about your observation and experience.
Observe, Engage, Reflect. You will be required to observe a virtual cultural or religious event/meeting that has previously been unfamiliar to you, then engage in whatever way that you can even if it means that you cannot specifically do something due to the current circumstances. It might be simply trying to totally immerse yourself in whatever you are seeing and hearing on the screen, imagining yourself in the shoes of others.
Revision: If you are unable find an event or meeting to attend then please replace it with an interview. Find an individual who identifies with a non-dominant group based on their race, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, culture, disability etc.. Discuss issues of discrimination, isolation, disenfranchisement, or anything that is different from your own experiences. In your write up you do not need to identify the person by name so that you can and should indicate to them that it will be kept confidential.
