Write a short story or a screenplay about a failed attempt at innovation. Use the narrative to help us see why the innovation failed. Show us, don’t tell us. Think about the lesson that you want a reader to take away from the story, and then use the story to help teach that lesson. Perhaps the innovator learned something from the failure that will be useful to them in the future, or perhaps the innovator also fails to learn from failure.
Feel free to use characters from the books we’ve read or films that we’ve watched. You can also invent entirely new characters if you prefer.
