3) please use 12-point font (Times New Roman or something similar is preferred), 1.5 spacing, 1-inch margins on all sides.
4) all direct quotations, summaried and paraphrased source material should be properly cited in Turabian (Notes-Bibliography) Format.
5) Please cite work using Footnotes (rather than Endnotes; footnotes appear as a numbered superscriipt in the text with the citation(s) at the bottom of the page). Use Turabian Notes Formatting for Footnotes (see the Turabian Notes-Bibliography Quick Guide for formatting).
6) Please include a Bibliography at the end of the paper (see the Turabian Notes-Bibliography Quick Guide for formatting).
7) Use of Italics in the research paper: Italicize foreign language words or terminology, such as ballet terminology, as well as names of choreographic works such as Giselle, Rainbow Round My Shoulder.
8) Please refer to authors, choreographers, designers, performers, etc. by either their full name or by last name: do not refer to individuals by their first name. For example, use Isadora Duncan, or Duncan, rather than Isadora.
9) Proofread your work carefully for spelling, punctuation, formatting, grammar and syntax. Use
spellcheck AND read your work aloud to find errors (it really works to read your work out loud)..
