Research question: Can racial balance be achieved without affirmative action policies in elite universities (Princeton, Yale, Harvard)?

Please, do identify the dependent and independent variables.
The research purpose being pursued is “Descriiptive Study,” which makes this research quantitative research, meaning you will be using existing data/literature to complete the paper.
You are free to decide on the time dimension of the study.
I think probability sampling can provide some leeway going forward with the research. Or you can decide whether to choose probability or non-probability sampling.
When you get to data collection, like I mentioned earlier that this is a quantitative research, so you will be using data collection techniques such old survey, interviews and review of secondary data.
For the ethical concerns part, I was not able to find any ethical issues but if you find any do mention.(voluntary participation, informed consent, anonymity, confidentiality, potential for harm, and results communication).
