location, relevant historical information, etc., and how the climate will influence the foods
produced/available and the food habits of the people.
o Relate the history of this cultural group to their food patterns, choices, health beliefs and
habits.
Discuss the differences and similarities among staple foods and preparation techniques within and across the cultures/ethnic groups
Identify key foods for each of the food groups and for the countries
Compare regional specialties and dishes in the cultures/ethnic groups reviewed
