Practicum Objectives:
Participate in designing or evaluating quality improvement studies and discuss the use of patient data using research findings, EBP guidelines, and a variety of systematic processes to compare expected and achieved outcomes of care.
Consider the process for providing safe effective nursing interventions using current research findings and evidence-based practice outcomes.
Analyze clinical decision making through inquiry and a systematic process, considering ramifications of proposed actions.
Analyze the BSN role in maintaining patient safety and improving the quality of care.
Directions: Complete a direct care activities log for each day that you are at your practicum site. You should submit a minimum of four logs.
