On March 28, 1992, the Wall Street Journal reported that the New Jersey Supreme Court had tossed out the appeal of a man seeking to stop his girlfriend from having an abortion. Much has been written about the woman’s right over her body, but relatively little about the fathers rights. Does a man have the right to veto an abortion? Does he have the right to veto a pregnancy? What duties logically follow from such rights?
