create a tri-fold brochure promoting the benefits of one sensory system
over the others. Any sensory system is eligible for your brochure except the visual system (i.e.,
auditory, gustatory, olfactory, or touch). Think of the brochure as an advertisement, as though
you are trying to “sell” the system, but it must include a factual basis and reasoning for why your
chosen system is best. For details on what should be included, please see the grading rubric.
Note the following instructions:
Create two 8.5” x 11″ pages that will be used for the front and back page of the tri-
fold brochure. Choose one of the sensory systems, other than vision:
1. Create two 8.5” x 11″ pages that will become the front and back of your brochure.
2. Use a template that will allow you to know where the folds will be as you design your tri-
fold brochure.
o Templates are available in Word, Google Docs, etc.
3. Use multiple images, colors, fonts, creative writing, and other tools to create your
brochure.
4. Include images and wording on your brochure. You may use images from the textbook,
images found on the internet, original drawings, or images you have scanned in, but be
careful not to violate copyright laws.
