Considering the two short stories by Cristina Peri Rossi and Rosario Ferr, and the passages from Armona Somers’ novel The Naked Woman discuss some of the following aspects:
– The representation of the woman’s body as sexual object and life bearing being.
– The diverse roles ascribed to women as mothers, sisters, daughters and so on, but also as caregivers and domestic educators.
