Computerized clinical decision support systems, or CDSS, are a model shift in healthcare. CDSS are utilized for augmenting clinicians in their complex decision-making processes. CDSS are primarily administered using electronic medical records and additional computerized clinical workflows, leading to increased global adoption of electronic medical records with advanced capabilities. According to Lutz et al. (2022), clinical decision support systems improve healthcare delivery by enhancing medical decisions with patient information, targeted clinical knowledge, and other health information (Lutz et al., 2022). Currently, CDSSs are primarily used at the point of care; as clinicians, we use them to combine our knowledge and information and offer suggestions. Moreover, CDSS has lately been developed to leverage data and observations or uninterpretable by individuals.
