Also, evidence of faith (and lack thereof) can be determined through actions and speech, similar to a tree being known by it fruit. Possible (certainly intended) significances of the study include 1) measure of Baptist adults’ faith and, if “insufficient,” utilizing that awareness as a springboard to increase faith; 2) living peacefully by having enough faith to truly know God is in control despite current events; 3) assessing one’s spiritual preparedness (measure of faith) for the imminent return of Christ; and, 4) if He does not return during one’s lifetime, assessing one’s spiritual preparedness of death from this world to new life in heaven.
