This week we are focusing on Intersectionality. Intersectionality builds on our last couple of chapters buy proposing how race/ethnicity, gender, and socio-economic status come together. This week you responsible for watching the 2 videos (trigger warning the TED talk has strong images) found in the intersectionality folder and writing a short response (2-3 paragraphs) on intersectionality. You may use these videos alone and/or use additional resources. Complete this while focusing on the questions below.
Define Intersectionality and tell us about the person that coined the term.
Why do the authors of the videos we watched state that it is important to use an intersectional lens when looking at social problems? Provide an example from the Crenshaw TED Talk or Khan Videos.
