There are people interested in breaking into the systems and releasing the data to the public. What are the issues raised by this scenario? Are the interested parties justified in sharing the data with the public as an act of civil disobedience? Are the government or government officials justified in working with private companies to collect and use the data from social media platforms? Are social media platforms justified in helping private companies and governments collect the data? 2. You are aware of a study that concludes that Californias emergency systems, including hospitals, emergency supplies, police, and so forth, are not sufficient for responding to a pandemic. The study has not been released to the public, and you are thinking of leaking it to a website that publishes leaked documents. What are the issues regarding such a release? Consider the intellectual property issues, the privacy of the data being released, and the impact on the public through the lens of the ACM code of Ethics. Be sure to list benefits of leaking the study and risks of doing so. List any other questions you consider relevant to making the decision. Indicate how different answers to some of the questions might affect your decision.
