– Conduct and summarize a mini-literature review utilizing the best, most current, evidence-based research relating to your phenomenon of interest. Your review should make use of at least three scholarly resources published within the last five years.
– Your mini-literature review should be cited in APA (7th ed.) style and be at least three pages in length.
– If you can, correlate your research to a problem or scenario that could be encountered in your specific APRN role.

Introduction/Topic: (25 to >20.5 pts) Clearly identifies the proposed phenomenon of interest and provides a background of the topic and purpose of the paper.
Formation of PICOT Question: (25 to >20.5 pts) Accurately constructs the PICOT question in a logical sequence.
Literature Review Process: (20 to >16.4 pts) Conducts a literature review providing evidence from scholarly resources to support claims using a minimum of three sources published in the last five years. Appraises and discusses the results of the research evidence in a logical sequence and accurately identifies the level of the research evidence using commonly used grading tools; i.e., USPSTF Grading Definitions (identify tool and include as an appendix).
Conclusion: (10 to >8.2 pts) Provides a logical and organized conclusion summarizing the essential points of the paper. No additional/new information is presented in the conclusion.
