You have introduced key critical issues regarding autism and attempted to explain the main arguments surrounding the medical model, ABA and deficit approaches. It was good to see you addressing prominent issues within autism and thinking about the implications on practice. There were many promising ideas here, but the assessment overall did not meet the learning outcomes.
Knowledge of SEND
You clearly have some knowledge of SEND key traits of autism. You also referred to some autistic-led research. You jumped between different concepts and ideas and did not bring these together sufficiently enough to fully demonstrate your knowledge.
