In life there are many experiences that touch us, mold us, change us. It is often difficult to share these experiences. Yet it is important to tell a story that is both important and interesting. Telling a story can be fun if there are a lot of details and facts. It is important that the story have a purpose and meaning.
Directions: Imagine that Reader’s Digest has asked you to write a personal experience that taught you a valuable lesson. You will be writing to an audience of people who do not know you. The audience is going to discuss your story later.
You are to write a four (4) paragraph paper (two to four pages) about an experience. Select one of the topics listed below. You must fill the paper with as much detail as possible. You must take the reader along for the ride.
