Outline a risk management plan you would recommend to public health
agencies who need to respond to protect the population at risk for diethlyene glycol and include
the rationale for the steps in your plan.
Write a risk communication message (Lecture 2b; Part 2)
a) Provide an example of a risk communication message that you would use
including who the source of the message would be, the message itself, and
the intended receivers of the message (keeping in mind the 7 C’s as detailed
in Lecture 2c).
b) Provide a detailed analysis of your communication, specifically noting how or
where your message meets the 7 C’s requirement. For example, you could
say, “The message meets the Credibility requirement because it is being sent
from the Surgeon General, who is an expert in the field of…”
