Background Information:
The Heartland Public School District has begun construction on a new school. You have been hired as the first building principal. Part II: Develop a philosophy (values), vision (how the school will appear in the future) and mission statement (brief formal statement of the purpose, values & goals)
Part III: Outline a plan and time table for staff recruitment and professional development.
Part IV: Establish a building layout and scheduling format as well as your rationale for both (you may include illustrations/examples, but are not required to do so).
Part V: How and when will you orientate the students and communicate your vision to the community?
Part VI: Outline, from a district-wide perspective, potential unintended consequences (impacts) as a result of your plans for this school.
