Select a culture or work of art that we have studied to be your reference point. Create an original work of art that is inspired by it.
A replica of a work of art is not sufficient. You are expected to add your own creative interpretations to the newly created piece. In addition to the artwork, a one page statement must be provided to explain your approach and inspiration.
A descriiption of a work of art is not sufficient. The submission of an actual physical art work is required. See attached image for an example of an reference artwork (column) and original artwork inspired by it.
