My research interests center around digital interactive learning and the associated potential insights into the challenges children face in their literacy practices as they interact with conversational agents. I am also interested in examining how the multilingual capabilities that are more easily achieved through conversational agents can push technology updates to the growing number of non-native English learners. Upon graduating, I will continue teaching to better understand the practical challenges teachers in rural areas face regarding educational technology and learning design to identify the best direction for my future research. After gaining sufficient insight, I will return to academia to spearhead technological innovations and learning designs that enable both teachers and learners to inspire themselves utilizing smarter technology. Ultimately, I want to pursue a fulfilling career as a researcher designing artificial intelligence or interactive learning programs in educational technology.
