Your assignment is to create a first-year budget accompanied by a budget narrative for a planned digital forensics laboratory start-up project.

The budget narrative describes
the justification for each item listed. Submit the narrative as a Word document.
You may insert the spreadsheet into the Word document if you wish.
Discuss the assignment with the budget experts in your
workplace and include their ideas and recommendations, if appropriate. Cite the sources of your information.
Your total budget must not exceed one million ($1,000,000) dollars.
Your estimated costs do not have to be exact but they must be in a realistic range. For example; an annual salary for a full-time digital forensics examiner should be more than $15,000 per year but less than $500,000 per year. The annual leasing costs for office space will be more than $1,200 but less than $300,000.
Include a budget narrative describing the justification for why each item is needed and include the number of items.
Do not outsource all of your digital forensic services to private contractors.
You are planning for a “brick and mortar” facility with your employees at the facility.
You will be submitting two documents: A Word document with the narrative and an Excel spreadsheet with the calculations.
