The sources you can use

Read: the War diary of Nina Kosterina, from Stolen Voices, pp. 41 – 72.
Some ideas include, but are not limited to: Junior Red Cross, Scouting, and Guiding in other countries!
Youth working for peace and internationalism (Junior Red Cross, etc) in Interwar Years or even a little
after – the model UN comes into being after the “adult” UN. Hitler Youth topics or other fascist youth organizations. Young people mobilizing in the US during WWII in activities I lectured about, or other things you found in your research. You could try to find other books like Patri’s in which adults mobilize kids for war – magazine articles are also great here. Parents’ Magazine is available online and has some great
content!
Assignment:
1) Create one slide about a particular aspect of one of our lessons. Your slide
should contain a title and an image or images that convey the point you wish to raise about your topic.
You can include a few bullet points if you’d like, but you don’t have to.
2) Your Voice over should be
from 2 to 4 minutes. You need to plan this out and have a clear objective for your Voice Over. You don’t have to write out a paper that you read from (though you can if you want to), but you really will need some notes so that you can convey your ideas clearly and in a reasonable time frame. I’m looking for a
clear story that you want to tell about your slide.
