Adams Elementary School has started a volunteer program in which parents are encouraged to help out in the classroom. The goal of the program is not only to provide the teacher with assistance, but also get parents more involved in the school and their children’s education. The principal hopes to boost the learning of the students who are achieving below grade level by getting their parents more involved in their children’s education through volunteer efforts in the classroom.
