PART 1: Problem Statement, Research Question, and Hypotheses.
1. Problem Statement (at least 1 page)
a. What is the proposal about?
b. What is the problem?
c. Why is it interesting/important to the human service profession?
d. How is your research question different from what has already been done? (for example, does it fill a research gap? does it address an ongoing debate with inclusive evidence?)
2. Research Question and Hypotheses (at least 1/2 page)
Based on the problem statement, formulate 1-2 hypotheses that examine the relationship between research variables related to your topic.
