How does social media, technologies and popular culture inform one another? Using ONE example of a socially mediated platform (Instagram, TikTok, Discord, YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, Spotify) examine how the technological interface (smart phones, computer, camera, etc.) shapes our individual and social experience of popular culture. How are we and our social relationships interpellated through these social media platforms, their networks and our devices? What do they enable or disable, add to and/or subtract from our social experience of popular culture?
