For Internet Sites- You are responsible for conducting a search on the topics in the chapters from the unit and then reporting on the substantial and scientific sites you find.
-You are free to search for your own sites and report on them as long as they relate to the topics in the unit. The sites need to be scientific and report on scientifically verified information, so not conspiracy theory sites, or someone’s opinion without evidence sites. Sites can be informational or they can be on a particular place that relates to the topics of the unit. Examples- if you search NASA you may find a sub-site that reports on the SpaceX rockets (informational) or you may find a NASA site that describes the places that landers have explored on Mars (field trip or place)
-I encourage you to find several sites under one chapter that interests you and decide which one you find the most interesting or informative to write about. After going to the site you will need to make a posting describing the site under the chapter Topic on the discussion board.
Requirements of the commentary should include:
* 100-‐300 words in length
* A three-‐four sentence summary of the site’s main point or purpose and its main information
* A short discussion on how the site relates to the material in the chapter
* A statement about why the site is important and what you think about the materials in the site
* The COMPLETE WEB ADDRESS of your source
