Throughout the semester, you will write short essays (2-3 pages) reflecting on course readings for the assigned week. The goal is to critically assess issues, themes, and questions raised in the text, NOT to summarize. The essay should address the major arguments, controversies, and debates in the reading and the related topic, and present your own analysis and point of view. What did you find convincing and what position do you support? What was missing in the analysis? Provide clear and logical evidence to support your position and back-up your claims.
