You may begin writing the exam as soon as it appears on the course page. However, the exam is
due no later than October 7th at 11:59 pm. Late exams are not accepted.
Your exam answers must be your own work with no collaboration and must be written in your
own words with no verbatim reproduction of online sources, course material, books or other
materials (except where cited). To create your replies to the questions found on the exam, you
must use the NATV 1240 course textbooks, UM learn 1240 course, and any films included in the
course to create your submissions ensure to cite appropriately. Any question featuring work from
outside the course will receive a zero.
Upload your exam as a Microsoft Word file to the folder called Midterm exam. You are
recommended to upload your exam at least one hour before it is due if you encounter any
technical difficulties when submitting your exam.
Failure to submit your take-home exam by the due date and time is no different from missing an
on-campus exam, and you must contact academic advisors in your Faculty Dean’s office (by
email) seeking permission for an exam deferral.
