While the Boston newspapers referred to the confrontation between colonists and British troops as the “Boston Massacre”, the newspapers in London called the same event the “Boston Riots”.
Read eyewitness accounts of the event here then briefly discuss how the same event can be interpreted differently by two different groups of people.
