Then, in this discussion, describe your experience in trying to explain normative and descriptive ethics to that person. Do you think the person understood? Was this difficult or easy? Did you end up having more conversation about ethics? Did you use an analogy that seemed to work and, if so, what was it? Did you learn anything yourself?
