Compare and contrast the similarities and the differences between their individual integument in a 1 to 3.This should include a discussion on the structure of the integument, the function of the integument, and any specific protections or vulnerabilities that the integument of each respective species has. Finally, discuss how the chosen type of animals integument is important in the natural environment where those two animals live in the wild.
Criteria:
Descriptions of the general layers of the integumentary system (dermis,epidermis, hypodermis) are provided for each animal.
Unique structures and/or vulnerabilities of the integumentary systems for each organism are described.
The function(s) of the named unique epidermal structures are detailed.
Both positive and negative interactions with the environment are described.
