The topic is Household Division of Labor: Men and Woman’s Responsibilities.
Pages: 7-10 double-spaced, not including references
Scholarly sources: 8 minimum*
Details:
Papers will be written in ASA or APA style and graded on content, grammar, spelling, and writing strength. Students are expected to demonstrate writing skills appropriate for a third-year (junior) college student.
Please do not include an abstract for this paper; a simple title page that includes your paper title, your full name, total word count, and course section information will suffice.
Papers must be double-spaced, typed in 12-point Times New Roman font, with 1-inch margins.
The content of the paper must include at least* 8 peer-reviewed journal articles, scholarly journals, or online official website references (non-partisan and non-profit). These sources must be included as in-text citations and in a reference list at the end.
The length of the literature review will be a minimum of 2,000 words and not more than 3,000 words (not including the reference page or a title page). This is approximately 7-10 pages.
Citations (both in text and on the reference page) must be correct. Improperly cited sources and the omission of proper citations will incur a point deduction for each occurrence.
Please be careful not to plagiarize. For almost all claims in a lit review, you need to cite a source. Plagiarism can result in a failing grade and student disciplinary actions.
An “A” paper is an excellent paper; a “B” means above average; and a “C” indicates work on par with the average for your grade level. Keep this in mind as you work on your review. A literature review with grammatical and spelling errors is not ‘excellent’ and, therefore, cannot receive a score above a “B-” (B-minus). Please proofread papers thoroughly and work with your professor and/or the university writing center before submitting.
Q1: The first thing that comes to mind is how the division of labor has changed over the years–from the stay-at-home Mom of the fifties to the two-income family of today. I also wonder if race, ethnicity, or other cultural values are a factor.
Q2: How religion and cultural beliefs that affect the responsibilities of labor in the household for men and women.
Q3: How does it affect same sex and heterosexual couples when it comes to men and women’s labor in the household.
