Analyze a historical missional encounter, a missionary’s actions or an event involving cross-cultural engagement. What are you learning about God’s mission in the world? What application do you see for living missiologically today? Identify a missiological issue and discuss it. Students are encouraged to analyze a specific historical context of significance to their Final Research Paper project. Explore and evaluate how an individual or event and the wider social dynamics in the history of mission and the church in your research context impinge on the contemporary situation and issues of missiological living. Write an analysis essay including a 100 words description of the issue and a 500 words discussion. Be sure to take a position and sustain the arguments for your position referring to class readings and teaching content as well as your historical research for this project.
